Med-Trans Corporation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee maintenance and safety of our EC135 fleet in Poughkeepsie, NY. The role supports timely, high-quality transportation services for patients.

The position requires an A&P license, 3+ years of turbine helicopter maintenance, and FAA knowledge. Compensation includes a strong starting salary, a sign-on bonus, and the IA stipend, with relocation considerations as applicable.

Qualificações

• EC135 maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance in the last 24 months.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State issued Driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems and aircraft maintenance records knowledge.
• Must live within an hour of base.
• Must be acceptable under FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, update tracking log, and document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per requirements and follow company policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members to facilitate maintenance efforts.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support our EC135 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• EC135 maintenance experience or equivalent
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Must live within an hour of base
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Inspection Authorization Certification
• Related experience under CFR Part 135
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
