Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for Region 5 in Columbus, OH. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and altering aircraft and engines to meet FAA airworthiness standards, and operating advanced testing and balancing equipment.

You will support ground handling, document maintenance logs, and monitor service bulletins, while working on-site from 08:00 to 16:30. FAA A&P background preferred; automotive experience acceptable for candidates without aviation

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license preferred; automotive technician experience accepted for applicants without aircraft background.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft and engine inspections, repairs, and alterations to ensure airworthiness in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Operate and maintain sophisticated aircraft testing, calibration, measuring, charging, and balancing equipment using specialized tools.
• Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, gas trucks, and refueling equipment; assist in refueling operations and aircraft ground handling.
• Maintain operational records including maintenance logs, parts orders, service manuals, and airworthiness documentation.
• Conduct miscellaneous tasks such as researching aircraft records, monitoring service bulletins, and managing flight schedules.
• Operate aircraft ground towing equipment and auxiliary power units for ground movement and engine starts.
