Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Dallas, TX to perform maintenance, repair and overhaul on sophisticated civilian aircraft.

You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, replacement and installation of panels, and support engine work and inspections. The role requires an A&P license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Airframe and Powerplant License required.
• A valid driver’s license and/or passport is ideal.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends.
• Effective communication in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and solving aircraft system issues.
• Performing engine removal/installations.
• Inspections of aircraft and components.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist with taxiing and performance runs.
