Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Wichita, KS to maintain King Air C90 and B200 airframes and ensure safe patient transport services. This role supports timely, high-quality transportation and patient care.

The candidate must have at least two years of turboprop/turbine experience, an A&P license, and knowledge of FARs and EMS maintenance processes. Flexibility for on-call shifts is required.

Qualifications

  • Two years turboprop and/or turbine-powered fixed-wing experience.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid State issued Driver's license.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
  • EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance planning.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be acceptable under FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections and repairs and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks and log maintenance supplies; document expenditures.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information per procedures and security standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crew.
  • Communicate across departments and with vendors to coordinate efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with AMTs and operations team and health/public safety personnel.

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! A&P Mechanic - Fixed Wing FULL-TIME Opportunity in Wichita, KS
  • Starting Salary: $78,287 -$113,480 annually (including 20% geo modifier)
  • IA Stipend 2,080
  • Sign-On Bonus 12,500
  • Schedule M-F (evening shift available as well)

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within EagleMed. This technician will be qualified to support our King Air C90 and B200airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
  • Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Valid State issued Driver's license
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
  • EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
  • Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • King Air C90 or King Air B200 maintenance experience
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certification
  • Related experience under CFR Part 135
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
