Job summary

Guardian Flight is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to sustain the safety and reliability of our fleet in Utah. This full-time AMT role focuses on turboprop/turbine maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with the lead technician to deliver high-quality patient transport services.

Starting salary ranges from a strong baseline with overtime, IA stipend, and a 2,080-hour sign-on program. The position requires an A&P license, FAA knowledge, and a flexible schedule to support 24/7

Qualifications

  • Two years turboprop and/or turbine-powered fixed-wing experience.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid State issued driver's license.
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent.
  • FAA regulations knowledge and record-keeping.
  • EMS systems, maintenance planning, and documentation experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and on-call rotations.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, and provide status updates to Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory and update equipment tracking logs; place replacement requests as needed.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies and security standards.
  • Coordinate with departments, vendors, and team members to ensure safety and quality.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crews.
