Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) to join a leading aviation services client based in Pocatello, Idaho. You will handle inspections, maintenance, and documentation in compliance with FAA regulations, supporting aircraft from acceptance to flight readiness.

Ideal candidates hold FAA A&P and IA, have at least five years of hands-on experience, and can communicate clearly with customers.

Qualifications

  • Holding FAA A&P license is required.
  • Holding FAA IA certification is required.
  • Minimum five years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Ability to work in varied weather and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Experience with Citation Jets and Beechcraft King Air preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance per FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Perform 50-hour, 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspections.
  • Repair airframes and replace components as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with ADs and service bulletins.
  • Maintain accurate aircraft logbooks and billing records.
  • Keep tools and work areas organized and well-maintained.
  • Communicate maintenance findings clearly to customers.
  • Support shop upkeep, overtime, and travel as required.

Our client, a leading entity in the aviation industry, is on the lookout for skilled and dependable Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) to become key players in their team based in Pocatello, Idaho. In this role, you’ll be the cornerstone of technical assignments for customer and company aircraft — from acceptance through documentation — in compliance with FAA regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct aircraft inspections and preventive maintenance in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Perform 50-hour, 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspections.
  • Repair airframes and replace aircraft components as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable airworthiness directives (ADs) and service bulletins.
  • Maintain accurate and timely aircraft logbooks and billing records.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Clearly communicate maintenance issues, findings, and recommendations to customers.
  • Assist with shop upkeep and support operational needs, including overtime and travel as required.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • Hold a valid FAA Inspection Authorization (IA).
  • Have at least five years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of aircraft systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Possess effective English communication skills.
  • Be able to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Experience working with Citation Jets and Beechcraft King Air aircraft is preferred.
