Job summary

Ameriflight, LLC is the nation’s largest Part 135 cargo airline providing scalable aviation services for the regional express airfreight market. Mechanics inspect, troubleshoot and repair airframe and powerplant components across a diverse fleet.

Engineers work from nose to tail, documenting per FAA regulations while maintaining safety. Travel for training or field service may be required; strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid FAA Aircraft Mechanic certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA background check.
• Pre-employment DOT drug screening and other background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work on aircraft from nose to tail and gain unique maintenance expertise.
• Perform all manner of maintenance on company aircraft per policy and FAA regulations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair airframe and powerplant components and systems.
• Document work completed per company procedures and FAA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• May travel for training or to repair aircraft in the field.
• Provide temporary support for other bases as needed.
