Qualifications

  • Airframe or Powerplant license is required (Airframe license preferred).
  • 0-2 years of aviation maintenance/aviation experience.
  • 2-4 years of aviation maintenance experience (Amt II).
  • 4-6+ years in aviation maintenance (Amt III).
  • 6+ years in aviation maintenance (Amt IV Master).

Responsibilities

  • Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
  • Remove and install panels and components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system/component issues.
  • Defuel aircraft.
  • Remove/install engines.
  • Operate ground support equipment.
  • Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
  • Assist with aircraft movement and taxiing during performance runs.
  • Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
  • Navigate electronic manuals and databases using basic computer skills.
  • Communicate effectively in English.

You Will Be ESSENTIAL To Many FUNCTIONS Including


  • Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.

  • Removal and installation of panels and components,

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues

  • De-fueling aircraft

  • Engine removal/installations,

  • Operating ground support equipment,

  • Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components

  • Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/ taxiing

  • Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling

  • Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases

  • Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English

  • Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.


Your Education

What you’ll need to bring with you:


A High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.


Your Experience

AMT I


  • Airframe or Powerplant license is required. Airframe license is preferred.

  • 0-2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar.

  • These technicians have limited to moderate knowledge of general maintenance aspects.

  • Technicians require close supervision of general maintenance tasks.


Amt Ii


  • Airframe or Powerplant license is required. Airframe license is preferred.

  • 2-4 years of experience working in aviation maintenance

  • Experience working on corporate aircraft is preferred but not essential.

  • These technicians have considerable knowledge of the job and general maintenance aspects.

  • Technicians require general supervision on routine maintenance and more detailed instruction for new or special assignments.


Amt Iii


  • Airframe license is required; in addition, Powerplant license is highly preferred

  • 4-6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance

  • Experience working on corporate aircraft is highly preferred but not essential.

  • These technicians have full knowledge of general, detailed, and special assignments in aircraft maintenance


AMT IV (Master)


  • Airframe and Powerplant license is required.

  • 6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance

  • Must have extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms

  • Subject matter expert in all areas of the job

Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.


Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.

Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.


Maintain customer-oriented work habits.

Physical Requirements


  • Lifts 50 lbs.

  • Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting.

  • Routine or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands.

  • Climb ladders and stairs, work in small, restricted areas

  • Standing for long periods of time.


Mental Requirements


  • Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines.

  • Troubleshoot or evaluate system operation.

  • Work with others in a professional manner.


Supervision

Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Director of Maintenance.


May be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity.


Working Conditions

Work is performed in a hangar environment subject to extreme temperature variations from very cold to very hot.


Work outside during aircraft runs will occur.


Varied positions in and around the aircraft.


Equipment Used

Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic.


Pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical equipment.


Jacks, stands, lifts and other support devices.


Tugs, power carts and other engine powered equipment.
