Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for a full-time role in Anchorage. Starting salary ranges from $65,239 to $94,567, with an additional Alaska-specific stipend of $2,080 and a sign-on bonus of $12,500.

You will perform mechanical inspections, repairs and maintain required FAA and EMS records to support flight operations. Ideal candidates hold an A&P license, at least 2 years of turboprop experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years turboprop fixed-wing experience.
• Valid state-issued Driver’s license.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems and aircraft maintenance records knowledge.
• Flexibility for overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• FAA drug and alcohol testing program compliance.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs and pushes/pulls 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs and provide status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory, update logs, and request replacements; document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for AMTs and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations.

Starting Salary: $65,239 – $94,567 (additional geo modifier based on location). IA Stipend $2,080. Sign‑On Bonus $12,500.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Two (2) years turboprop fixed‑wing experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid state‑issued Driver’s license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS Systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Maintenance experience with King Air C90, King Air B200, King Air B300, King Air 350, Pilatus PC‑12, Lear 45, and/or Cessna 208 Caravan.
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
• Related experience under CFR Part 14.
• Autopilot maintenance experience.
• Avionics and electrical repair experience.
