Job summary

Sun Country Airlines is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to ensure ongoing airworthiness of the fleet at the Hebron, KY facility (CVG Airport). The role includes troubleshooting, maintenance documentation, and coordination with the maintenance team to uphold Sun Country standards.

Compensation starts at $38.75 USD per hour, full-time non-exempt, with benefits and opportunities for growth within a growing airline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A&P license is required.
• Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision under stressful situations.
• Candidate must pass a criminal history background check and a pre-employment drug test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft to Sun Country Airlines standards.
• Complete maintenance paperwork accurately.
• Enter log items, NRTCs, and task cards into TRAX.
• Identify and report problems that could impact maintenance operations.
• Communicate with Maintenance Station Supervisor during procedures.
• Maintain an up-to-date OJT file.
• Assist with training of newly hired staff as needed.
• Perform housekeeping of maintenance facilities as required.
• Move and park aircraft as operations warrant.
• Move ground equipment as needed for maintenance.
• Comply with safety, health, and regulatory requirements.
