Job summary

Akima Readiness Support (ARS) in Honolulu, HI seeks an Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor for UH-60 and CH-47 platforms. You will supervise maintenance crews, coordinate inspections, and ensure safety, quality, and timely aircraft readiness on complex rotorcraft.

The role demands leadership experience, hands-on expertise with UH-60 and CH-47, and ability to liaison with operations, engineering, and quality control to maintain flight schedules.

Qualifications

• High School graduate/GED or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience working with UH-60 aircraft.
• Must be US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and coordinate aircraft maintenance personnel performing maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of UH-60 Black Hawk and/or CH-47 Chinook aircraft.
• Plan, assign, prioritize, and monitor daily maintenance activities to ensure aircraft maintenance requirements and established delivery schedules are met.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, modifications, and component replacement activities.
• Supervise maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, including engines, powerplant, rotor systems, transmissions, and flight controls.
• Verify that aircraft maintenance actions and documentation are properly recorded in logs and maintenance systems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production control, quality control, engineering, and supply to minimize downtime.
