Job summary

• Experience applying AS 9100, 8210 & related DoD technical orders and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced, rapid change environment as the mission requires.
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret (or higher) clearance.
• Strong written and oral communication – able to brief senior leadership and write clear work order packages.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control the full modification program for MH 6, MH 60 and MH 47 platforms, ensuring cost, schedule & performance targets are met.
• Partner daily with the Operations Manager, peer Supervisors, Associate Managers, and Aircraft Schedulers to secure on time, on budget delivery.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to Group Leads and Technicians through all modification and test phases.
• Issue work orders and track progress against the assigned timeline to validate efficient completion.
• Coordinate with Structural and Electrical Engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during build out.

What You’ll Do

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience applying AS 9100, 8210 & related DoD technical orders and interpreting engineering drawings.

• Availabletoworkflexible, non standard shifts (including nights, weekendsorrotating “A B” schedules) in direct support of Special Operations missions.
• Demonstrated ability to inspireandcoachteams to exceed goals while driving high morale in a union environment while following parameters of a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Desired Skills

• Self sufficiently organize&executeproduction strategy type plans—managelargepersonnel teamsizes(≥15 ) and thrivethroughconflictingpriorities.
• Prior experience supporting Military Special Operations customers (preferred).
• 5+years of aircraft modification / program managementexperience(especiallyMH 6/ 60/ 47).
• Familiarity with **DoD maintenance/ inspection/ inspection procedures

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
