Job summary

Pacific Coast Jet in Oakland, CA is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Shop Manager to lead daily shop floor operations and ensure FAA‑compliant maintenance. You will supervise technicians, schedule activities, and coordinate with Maintenance Management to optimize workflows.

Requirements include FAA A&P license and at least 5 years in Part 135/145 operations, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. This is a safety‑sensitive, exempt, full‑time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Part 135/145 turbine-powered aircraft operations.
• Shop floor experience in general aviation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall supervision of shop floor workflows, scheduling and assignments.
• Direct management and supervision of shop staff.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Train technicians on procedures and PCJ systems.
