The role emphasizes managing day-to-day tasks, liaising with customers, verifying maintenance records, conducting audits against the maintenance information system, and correcting documentation errors in collaboration with Operations and Quality Control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Aviation (management, operations or maintenance) preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Records department and SME in the role.
• Knowledge of EmpowerMX Fleet Cycle and aircraft records requirements.
• MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Leader by managing day-to-day tasks and assigns tasks/projects to other team members.
• Interacts as a liaison (point of contact) with customer on behalf of the Leader.
• Verifies the completeness of the maintenance record package; ensures signatures are present.
• Leads and/or performs systematic audits of maintenance paperwork vs. data in the maintenance information system.
• Ensures completeness of all maintenance documentation with properly annotated fields.
• Responsible for the audit flow process and for filing and records scanning readiness.
• Reports all discrepancies noted during auditing via EmpowerMX fleet cycle system.
• Leads and supports the Operations and Quality Control departments in correcting documentation errors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
