Job summary

Western Aircraft is offering an Aircraft Maintenance Internship in Boise, Idaho for transitioning service members. Interns will gain valuable experience in maintenance on general aviation aircraft, under the guidance of experienced technicians. Responsibilities include performing maintenance, inspections, and ensuring the proper care of customer property. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years in aircraft maintenance, and those working towards Airframe & Powerplant certifications are preferred. A drug-free workplace policy is enforced and equal opportunity is promoted.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in general/military aircraft maintenance required.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Candidates actively working to obtain Airframe & Powerplant certifications within 6 months of start date preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on general aviation aircraft.
• Ensure proper care of customer property through all phases of work.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
