Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least 4 years of applicable experience.
• Extensive knowledge of slings, shackles, spreader bars and OSHA/ANSI/ASME standards.

Responsibilities

• Remove, inspect, clean and install components and parts.
• Repair, adjust, and install components and parts for serviceable aircraft parts.
• Hoist aircraft and install shoring under airframes for storage on multiple MDS aircraft.
• Prepare aircraft for final demilitarization by removing hazardous materials.
• Identify and remove known or suspected environmental hazards during demilitarization.
• Disassemble/reassemble operations with inspections for wiring and wear; follow technical orders.
