Job summary

ABX Air, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Controller to oversee line-maintenance for the ABX fleet, coordinating with Operations, Engineering and contract agencies to ensure prompt, compliant support for in-service aircraft.

This role requires an A&P license, a high school diploma, and 4 years of related maintenance experience; bilingual Spanish preferred. The position emphasizes independent decision-making to sustain dispatch reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A&P license is required.
• 4 years of experience in maintenance of commercial transport aircraft.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor status of line maintenance on the ABX fleet.
• Expedite troubleshooting and repair actions to minimize aircraft on-ground time.
• Coordinate daily work priorities and task assignments with line representatives and contract agencies.
• Provide real-time technical guidance to maintenance personnel and vendors.
• Interface with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and other teams.
• Maintain and distribute maintenance logs, status boards and reports.
• Verify compliance with FAA regulations and airworthiness directives.
• Communicate aircraft availability updates to dispatch and flight crews.
