Job summary

AAR Airframe MRO – Miami, a leader in aircraft maintenance and parts, seeks a Technology Administrator II to support office and hangar IT needs. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity, manage Windows and 365 services, and help optimize the Paperless Taskcard solution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Two to four years of end-user support in a Windows-based environment.
• Working knowledge of Windows endpoints/servers, IAM, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID/Connect, cloud services, and business applications.
• Power Automate, PowerShell, Python for routine automation; AI-assisted tools experience.
• Storage solutions and networking protocols familiarity.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills; able to explain technical issues clearly.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive technical support to employees in office and hangar environments.
• Administer and maintain Windows systems, Microsoft 365, IAM tools, and virtualization.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and configurations for reliability and security.
• Support Paperless Taskcard Solution and other critical apps; triage incidents with owners and vendors.
• Monitor system performance and address issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain backup/recovery solutions and perform routine recovery checks.
• Document actions, escalate complex issues, and maintain knowledge articles.
• Create and validate AI-generated documentation; improve troubleshooting workflows.
• Adhere to security, privacy, and SMS policies; participate in safety reporting.
• Collaborate with teams across the Americas and globally; assist as needed.
