Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Interior Technician to support interior installations and refurbishments on corporate aircraft and luxury yachts. You will perform interior work, assist with shop maintenance, and ensure high safety and quality standards in a large MRO environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with interior finishing, electrical work basics, and the ability to read technical instructions. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential in a 4/10 or day shift setup.

Qualifications

Experience in aviation maintenance or MRO environments, especially corporate aircraft.
Hands-on interior work: installation, repair, and minor modifications of panels, seats, carpets.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for interior finishing.
Basic electrical skills for interior systems installation and modification.
Ability to read manuals and follow technical instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Install carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, and fabric accessories in aircraft interiors and yachts.
Perform parts replacement and repair on interior components meeting safety standards.
Carry out interior electrical system installation and modification.
Modify interior panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry, and upholstery with hand and power tools.
Assist with aircraft detailing and shop facility upkeep to maintain quality and safety.
Navigate electronic manuals and maintenance databases using basic computer skills.
Maintain shop cleanliness and coordinate with teammates to ensure smooth operations.
