Job summary

Vertical Mag in Tampa, FL is seeking an Interior Mechanic to service, troubleshoot, repair, modify, preserve, maintain, and overhaul aircraft interiors and components per company policies and regulatory standards. The role requires hands-on technical expertise in aircraft interiors, with at least two years in heavy maintenance.

A valid A&P is a plus, ability to read manuals, and a valid driver’s license are expected, with SIDA badge eligibility likely.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in heavy aircraft maintenance.
• Airframe & Powerplant license a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, instructions, blueprints.
• Proficient with tools, gauges, and instruments.
• Understanding of hazardous materials handling and disposal.
• Qualified to obtain a SIDA badge.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Works according to written and verbal instructions.
• Performs maintenance procedures as approved.
• Records work performed and signs off.
• Uses blueprints, schematics, and Maintenance Manuals.
• Performs touch-up painting as needed.
• Maintains Airframe license in current status.
• May perform experimental and developmental work.
