Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Interior Installation Technician II to remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors such as trim, carpet, panels, and cabinetry. You will follow design specifications and quality standards to meet customer expectations, working under supervision.

The role requires reading blueprints, ability to work with hand/power tools, and skill in installing seats, fixtures, and furnishings.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years of applicable installation, fabrication or related experience.
Experience in aerospace industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely perform aircraft removal, installation, and/or fabrication of interiors (galleys, closets, lavatories, panels).
Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with procedures and FAA paperwork.
Use material tracking system to create parts demand and sign-off work.
Prepare and install interior items per procedures and quality standards.
Remove and re-install nut plates and fasteners used in interiors.
Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and use PPE.
Assist technicians under supervision with maintenance requirements.
Adapt to sudden schedule changes.
