Job summary

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is seeking an Aircraft Interior Installation Tech for a full-time contract position. Responsibilities include removal, installation, and fabrication of aircraft interiors such as galleys, lavatories, doors, and panels in accordance with repair station procedures.

The role requires reading engineering documentation, using hand and power tools, lifting up to 40 pounds, and adhering to safety and 5S policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience ranges from entry level with applicable installation, fabrication or related experience or trade school preferred to four (4) years of applicable installation, fabrication or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform aircraft interior removal, installation, and/or fabrication per work orders.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
• Use hand tools and power tools; maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Lift up to 40 pounds; work in small, restricted areas; climb ladders and stairs.
• Mentor and train other technicians at Sr level; oversee projects as required.
