HRD is seeking an Aircraft Inflatable Technician at our Valencia, CA facility to assemble and repackage inflatables per OEM specs. The role involves reading data, measuring dimensions, and ensuring airworthiness before packing.
You will work a Monday–Friday 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule with a focus on safety and quality, in a team-oriented environment. Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED and the ability to read a tape measure, basic math, and English proficiency.

The Aircraft Inflatable Technician is responsible for the assembly and repackaging of inflatable products in accordance to the Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) specifications and written procedures under general supervision.
Read and interpret data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection, and testing procedures, accept units that are to be maintained from the receiving inspection process, ensure all items are accounted for and the assembly is ready for packing. Perform duties such as manual lifting, pulling, pushing, and tugging to repackage articles, use proper tooling to repackage inflatables in accordance with OEM/CMM and/or approved data. Insert units into oven, when necessary, work in conjunction with the inspector to provide continuity in the packing process, ensure that all parts and components are in airworthy condition before packing. Measure dimensions and/or use templates to verify specified dimensions or settings meet OEM guidelines, and confirm all packing aids are accounted for. Completes documents and forms applicable to the work task. Carry out duties in accordance to QCM/RSM written specifications and procedures. Ensure any relevant Airworthiness Directives (ADS) are applied. Check that Service Bulletins are complied with when applicable to the required task. Maintain the working area in an organized and neat condition, observe and follow all safety rules and policies. Maintain an acceptable level of productivity as determined by department requirements and provide team member support.
