Job summary

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) seeks an Aircraft Heavy Maintenance Tech Rep/Supervisor to oversee QA/QC programs across outsource maintenance providers and to ensure compliance with CFRs. This role requires extensive travel among HMP locations, coordination with engineering, materials, and vendor teams, and management of corrective actions and audits.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Part 121/145 maintenance environments, FAA A&P licenses, and strong knowledge of NDT processes.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in Part 121 maintenance programs
• Ability to travel internationally
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 5 years experience in oversight of Part 145 maintenance programs
• Experience as Quality Control Inspector
• Aircraft training in Airbus A319/320/321, Boeing 737/777/787, Embraer E190 (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Monitors compliance with the airline's Maintenance Program and CFRs
• Oversees QC programs including RII, NDT, major repair reporting, receiving, training and rejection/buy back
• Audits completed tasks to ensure work matches instructions
• Documents deficiencies to Sr. Site Manager
• Coordinates with onsite teams and vendors to meet maintenance program requirements
• Maintains familiarity with contractual arrangements with contract vendors
• Ensures timely generation and distribution of required reports
• Inputs data into maintenance systems and attends vendor meetings
• Participates in Functional Checks Flights
• Extensive travel between all HMP locations
