Job summary

PlaneSense, Inc., located in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a 3rd shift Line Service Technician for its Aircraft Services Department. The role delivers high-quality ground services to aircraft, flight crews, and company personnel, including marshaling, towing, fueling coordination, sanitation, baggage handling, and transportation.

The technician must follow FARs and airport guidance, maintain a professional appearance, and work in all weather as part of a safety‑driven, customer‑focused team.

Qualifications

• Aviation or line service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and items.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Must pass a 10‑year criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote all safety practices and policies.
• Respond to service needs of aircraft and flight crew (fuel, lavatory, baggage assistance, special requests).
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Interact with local airport authority.
• Provide ground movement and ground support to aircraft.
• Meet inbound aircraft on arrival and prepare aircraft for departure.
• Stage/tow aircraft to and from hangar and remote parking areas.
• Provide sanitation services to the aircraft.
• Transport flight crews and company personnel by vehicle.
• Load and unload clients' luggage into aircraft and their vehicles.
• Assist Facilities with grounds upkeep and occasional snow removal.
• Work in all-weather environments.
