Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Hartford, CT is hiring an Aircraft Fueler responsible for fueling/defueling and servicing of aircraft at the airport. You will perform weight and balance calculations and ensure safe, secure operations in all weather.

The role requires weekend availability, outdoor work, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Prior CDL or oil and gas experience is a plus, and candidates must read, write and speak English and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations.
• Able to lift and move up to 70 lbs.
• Work is outdoors; comfortable in all weather conditions.
• Must be available to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience and CDL or Oil & Gas industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling safely and efficiently; drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and maintain equipment in clean/functional condition.
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.
