Job summary

Tank Tigers, an STS Aviation Group company, seeks an experienced Aircraft Fuel Cell Technician (Class A) in Tampa, Florida. The role requires hands-on maintenance of aircraft fuel tanks with at least four years of experience and the ability to troubleshoot across multiple airframes.

You will follow FAA data, complete maintenance records, and ensure tools and test equipment are properly calibrated. This on-site position emphasizes safe workmanship and adherence to FAR Parts 43 and 145.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair multiple airframes with limited guidance.
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals and technical data.
• Ability to accurately complete maintenance records and required documentation.
• Familiarity with FAR Parts 43 and 145.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned aircraft fuel tank maintenance tasks according to maintenance manuals.
• Complete preventive maintenance and alteration tasks using approved data.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues across multiple aircraft types and airframes.
• Sign off on completed maintenance tasks and ensure proper sequencing.
• Ensure test equipment and tools are calibrated and properly labeled.
