Job summary

AVFLIGHT CORPORATION in Flint, MI is seeking a Line Services Technician responsible for fueling, de-icing, hangar and tie down storage, and various support services to customers and other departments.

The role covers commercial ramp operations, aircraft cleaning, operations, and commissary duties, with shifts including first shift and the need to work outdoors in all weather conditions at the airport.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years related experience; aviation experience a plus.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and work outside in all weather.
• Able to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Background check and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Performs fueling and de-icing of aircraft per standards.
• Directs aircraft and vehicle movement on ramp and secures parked aircraft.
• Serves fuel trucks and ground support vehicles; provides fuel, oil and related services.
• Provides de-icing, lavatory and other customer services as needed.
• Assists with daily fuel farm inspections and safety checks.
• Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of areas around facilities; assists crews.
