Job summary

Jet Linx is seeking an Accountant to support accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, and financial analysis. The role ensures accurate financial reporting and timely month-end close, while providing responsive support to internal teams and aircraft owners.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and offers a competitive base salary with comprehensive benefits. Regular on-site attendance is expected at our Omaha, NE location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• No previous accounting experience required.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn flight operations software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements for aircraft owners as part of the month-end close.
• Post journal entries including accruals, deferrals, and reclasses.
• Review owner statement pass-throughs for accuracy.
• Reconcile flight software data with the general ledger.
• Process invoicing and verify billing data; enter sales transactions in the GL.
• Respond to customer and owner inquiries with documentation and issue resolution.
• Reconcile pilot credit cards and apply charges to trips or invoices.
• Maintain knowledge of GAAP and accounting policies.
