Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience.
  • A&P license may offset the one year of experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components.
  • Rig control cables, sectors, linkages, control surfaces, landing gear and doors, engines, cowls.
  • Remove and replace linkage, sectors, components; cut and fit system lines and hardware.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency of installations; perform rework to meet specs.
  • Install system lines, valves, ducts and related hardware; ensure leak-free systems.
  • Use tools including permaswage pumps, dies, line cutting tools, wrenches, gauges.
  • Update and sign logs and records; check own work for defects.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area; support 5S and safety programs.
  • May include flight tests for certification/testing.
