Job summary

KIHOMAC in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled technician to train on electrical system modifications for military aircraft, starting with the T6 modification team, with opportunities to work on other airframes.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, familiarity with wiring, test equipment, and a proven work ethic; travel is 100% and candidates must be able to work unsupervised and document compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline desired.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-aircraft modifications, Time-Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), component and harness installation/removal, operational checkouts, and prototype and trial vehicle installations (TVI).
• Follow engineering guidance, technical orders, and drawings.
• Train and assist other technicians on techniques and procedures (OJT).
• Modify aircraft and equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as per predetermined processes (OJT).
• Maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free/clean work area.
