Job summary

Aviatron, Inc. in Vermont is seeking a maintenance technician to perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components and ensure orders meet the Repair Group's standards and procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of related experience, and the ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; PMA/DER knowledge is a plus. Applicants must be able to write routine reports and work safely in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certificate preferred.
• Minimum two years’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components.
• Ensure work is performed according to policies and procedures; verify proper material handling.
• Record the work performed on maintenance records.
• Research to ensure manuals and data are current and appropriate for tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
