Job summary

HHS Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Cleaning Lead at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to join our team. This role offers both full-time and part-time options with an hourly rate of $16.50, and requires a background check and airport clearance.

As a lead, you will supervise cleaning tasks, train agents, ensure safety and quality standards, and guide proper equipment use. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school credential, and be able to obtain airport security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least a high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent.
• Six months of experience in aircraft cleaning is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Must be able to obtain airport security clearance.
• Must be certified to complete and able to perform Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean aircraft according to the quality and safety standards of the customer and HHS.
• Provide direction to cleaning agents on the proper use of equipment to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Oversee cleaning tasks to ensure an acceptable level of quality is delivered to the customer.
• Interpret and communicate any items in question in company manuals or policies to cleaning agents.
• Assist with hands-on training for cleaning agents.
• Provide feedback to supervisors and managers regarding team member counseling or corrective action.
• Ensure a safe and efficient work environment for customers, their aircraft, and team members.

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our aircraft cleaning team!

Clean aircraft between flights to create a clean and comfortable flying experience for passengers.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
• Willing to work outside in all types of weather and in elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
