Job summary

Flexjet in Sanford, FL is seeking a Finish Technician to join our in-house interiors team on private aircraft. You will perform cabinet work, including removal, modification, re-laminating and re-finishing, with attention to quality and FAA compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of cabinetry experience, strong mechanical aptitude in aviation interiors, and the ability to work independently in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience on aircraft cabinetry, including building, modification, and finishing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude in aviation interiors and components.
• Ability to pass FAA guidelines and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform cabinet removal, installation, modification, re-laminating, re-finishing, veneering or fabrication.
• Spray and polish gloss/satin coatings.
• Perform minor modifications and wood touch ups.
• Maintain and repair shop equipment and tooling.
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surroundings.
• Work independently when required and follow safety rules.
• Adhere to FAA guidelines and customer requirements.
