Job summary

Aviation Technical Services in Everett, WA, is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Technician to ensure safe, reliable avionics systems on our aircraft. You will perform wiring, routing, termination, and testing, and read and execute Engineering Orders (EOs) accurately.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED plus 2 years of avionics experience or an equivalent combination; an A&P license is highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of relevant aircraft avionics experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • An Airframe (A) or Airframe/Powerplant (A&P) license highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Wiring, routing, termination, and testing of avionics systems.
  • Read and execute Engineering Orders (EOs) cleanly.
  • Troubleshooting capability for avionics systems.
  • Access and restore work area as needed.

SUMMARY:

As an Aircraft Avionics Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring safe, reliable, and high-performing aircraft systems

Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Strong in wiring, routing, termination, and testing

  • Strong understanding of Airbus ESPM

  • Ability to read and execute Engineering Orders (Eos) cleanly

  • Troubleshooting capability

  • Able to access and restore work area



Education And Experience


  • A high school diploma or GED and:

    • Two years of relevant aircraft Avionics experience, OR

    • An equivalent combination of education and experience.



  • An Airframe (A) or Airframe/Powerplant (A&P) license (highly desirable).



Physical Effort And Dexterity


  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Comfortable with climbing ladders and aircraft stairs to access systems.

  • Flexibility to sit, stand, kneel, or crouch as needed during tasks.



Compensation


The base pay range for this position is $23.50 – $37.00 hourly/ DOE, not including bonuses or benefits. Your pay will be based on your experience, skills, and education, as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team. Candidates closer to the lower end of the range are typically building their expertise, while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
