Job summary

NWI Nashville, LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking an operator to load, set up, and run autoclaves and related equipment to cure and bond aircraft parts. You will read shop orders, select parts for bonding, and load racks using appropriate equipment.

You will monitor controls, adjust as needed, and maintain records of each cycle to ensure quality and safety. The role requires coordination with teammates, adherence to safety standards around high-pressure autoclaves, and basic computer proficiency

Qualifications

• One year aircraft assembly or general manufacturing experience, or successful completion of a company-approved training program.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate autoclaves and related equipment to cure/bond aircraft parts and assemblies per specifications.
• Read shop orders and documents to determine bonding process specifications and select suitable parts for bonding.
• Position parts on racks and load autoclaves using hoists, forklifts, or manual methods.
• Monitor autoclave operation, adjust controls, and verify readings to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain records of autoclave operations and perform routine calibration of system components.
• Communicate loading/unloading and safety procedures to coworkers to ensure a safe work environment.
