Job summary

Entegee is seeking an aerospace assembler in Florida to interpret blueprints, read engineering documents, and assemble components to strict tolerances. You will use drills, torque wrenches, and precision instruments to verify dimensions up to .001 and perform meticulous part-fitting and fastener installation.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and interpreting specifications/technical publications.
• Using basic hand tools (drills, torque wrench, inspection tools) and precision instruments.
• Verify dimensions with tolerances up to .001 using precision measuring equipment.
• Locating holes from blueprints by hand layout, tooling jigs, or tech platforms.
• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing or assembly.
• Focus on quality, safety, schedule and cost.
• Teamwork and self-starting ability.
• Aircraft assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and learn blueprints and work instructions to assemble components.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions to .001.
• Perform hand drilling and installation of aircraft-fasteners.
• Complete part-fitting operations (filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, cold working).
• Learn to drill close tolerance holes and measure parts with various methods to verify dimensions.
• Work with a team to meet production times and support Lockheed Aero Operations.
• May modify or repair assemblies to incorporate engineering changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Basic experience with reading blueprints and interpreting specifications and/or technical publications.
• Basic experience with basic hand tools (drills, torque wrench and inspections tools), as well as ability to use precision instruments.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions with tolerances up to .001.
• Basic experience with locating holes from blueprints by hand layout, tooling jigs, engineering prints, and/or technology-based platforms.
• Basic experience in sheet metal manufacturing, and/or assembly.
• Focus on Quality, Safety, Schedule and Cost
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as be a self-starter
• Aircraft Assembly experience

Job Responsibilities:
