Job summary

Astronautics Corporation of America in Oak Creek, WI seeks an Acceptance Test Technician to perform final acceptance testing of airborne displays, servers, and computers. This on-site role includes documenting results, reporting failures, and coordinating with engineering to drive improvements.

Shifts include 2nd and 3rd with a shift premium; 1st shift training will precede assignments. Candidate must have an electronics-related associate degree and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics or electrical engineering or equivalent military training.
• Ability to read and follow quality procedures, test procedures, change orders and other operating instructions.
• Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Ability to use oscilloscopes and complex avionics test equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers.
• You must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct final acceptance testing of airborne displays, servers and computers using established procedures.
• Document test results and complete accompanying paperwork per procedures.
• Document failures on a Failure Report Form and communicate with engineering as needed.
• Interface with engineering and test equipment departments on failures and process improvements.
