• Own the Air Vehicle: lead architecture, performance, integration, and design integrity.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, avionics, and controls.
• Drive system-level trades on performance, weight, range, cost, reliability and risk.
• Lead design execution from requirements to flight test, resolving critical issues.
• Stay hands-on in problem solving, reviews, and root-cause investigations.
• Own technical risk and ensure engineering rigor with schedule constraints.
• Build-test-learn with prototypes and real-world data to retire risk.
• Drive integration of interfaces between subsystems and payloads.
• Design for production with manufacturing and supply chain alignment.
• Lead suppliers and external systems to meet aircraft-level requirements.
• Set engineering standards and mentor engineers and leaders.
