Evans Consulting seeks an Air Traffic Training Lead SME to guide training for a major airspace modernization project and ensure training materials meet FAA standards. You will lead development, coordinate with subject matter experts, and align content with operational requirements.
This largely remote role requires on-site presence at DOT and FAA headquarters in Washington, D.C., to collaborate with the FAA Academy, facilities, and stakeholders while delivering compliant training programs.
Evans is hiring an Air Traffic Training Lead SME to lead training subgroup for a complex and significant airspace modernization initiative. You will lead the development and coordination of air traffic training materials and strategies, working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training products meet FAA operational and certification standards.
Location details: This role is mostly remote with occasional on-site requirements at the Department of Transportation Headquarters in Washington D.C. and the FAA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $155,000to $180,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans’s total compensation package for employees.
