DC Army National Guard is seeking an Air Traffic Control Operator to manage sky traffic and guide aircraft on runways and in the air. You will learn radar procedures, weather considerations, and coordination with ground crews.

Your training consists of 10 weeks Basic Training followed by 14 weeks Advanced Individual Training (AIT), with pay during the program and opportunities for tuition assistance.

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in air traffic control concepts and procedures.
• Experience with radar communications is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and in shifts.

• Control airborne and ground traffic.
• Assist in installation/relocation of tactical air traffic control facilities.
• Process flight plan data and maintain logs, records, and communications.
