Job summary

One Way Safety, a Paradigm HSE company, is hiring an Air Technician in La Grange, Illinois. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high and low-pressure breathing air equipment, and manage related documentation.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience (comprehensive training provided), OSHA 10 certification, and a willingness to work in a plant environment. Heavy lifting may be involved.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; comprehensive training provided.
• OSHA 10 Certification is required.
• Plant or refinery experience preferred but not required.

One Way Safety, a Paradigm HSE company, is hiring an Air Technician! Join our team in La Grange, Illinois and build a career maintaining and servicing high- and low-pressure breathing air equipment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high and low-pressure breathing air equipment (regulators, airlines, reducers, manifolds, air packs, cascade systems, air trailers, and air compressors).


• Documentation: Process and manage all customer-related paperwork accurately following equipment inspections and servicing.

Educational Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.

Experience & Certifications

• 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Comprehensive training will be provided.


• OSHA 10 Certification is required.


• Experience working in a plant or refinery environment is preferred (especially within the chemical or oil & gas sectors), but not required.
