Job summary

Sapsol Technologies Inc. is seeking an Air Systems / Pneumatics Engineer to join our aerospace team in the United States.

The role focuses on ECS, bleed air and pneumatic integration, system certification, and close collaboration with suppliers and internal groups to meet certification requirements. You will define system specifications, validate requirements, review design documents, and support flight tests and certification activities across multiple air systems such as ECS, CPCS, Ice

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Air/Pneumatic Systems, their integration on the aircraft, and certification.

Responsibilities

• Define and prepare system specifications and requirements.
• Ensure requirements validation and management.
• Assure integration and interface management of assigned systems; coordinate with internal groups and suppliers.
• Review and approve design documents (vendor drawings, qualification/test procedures, qualification reports, and certification documents).
• Support development, qualification and certification of the systems.
• Support system tests and flight tests and prepare compliance reports.
• Work on various air systems such as ECS, CPCS, Ice Protection, Bleed Air, FIDEEX, Oxygen, Window Heating and ducting.

As an Air Systems / Pneumatics Engineer we will ask you to:

• Prepare / define systems specifications and requirements;
• Ensure requirements validation and management;
• Assure integration and interface management of assigned systems and coordinate with internal groups & suppliers;
• Review and approve design documents such as vendor drawings, qualification and acceptance test procedures, qualification reports and certification documents;
• Support development, qualification and certification of the systems;
• Support system test and flight test activities;
• Prepare technical reports to show compliance to the applicable certification requirements.

In your role, you may be required to work on different air systems such as:

• Environmental Control Systems (ECS)
• Cabin Pressure Control System (CPCS)
• Ice Protection and Ice Detection system
• Bleed Air System
• Fire Detection and Extinguishing system (FIDEEX)
• Oxygen System
• Window Heating Systems
• High Pressure and Low Pressure ducting

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

• You possess a University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent;
• You possess good knowledge of Air Systems / Pneumatic Systems including their integration on the aircraft and certification;
• You have good knowledge of the Aircraft and Pneumatics interfacing systems;
• You have knowledge of TCCA, FAA and EASA certification regulations
• You have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).
