GEO is seeking an Air Officer-in-Charge to supervise and train Flight Security Officers for charter aircraft services, ensuring the safety of noncitizen and crew on-board and maintaining strict security procedures.

The role requires overseeing loading/unloading, incident reporting, training completion, and adherence to contract requirements, with duties expanding to provide security and operational support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must meet all Air Detention Officer qualifications.
• Must be a US citizen residing in the US and able to obtain visas and inoculations required for entry/exit.
• Must possess a valid US passport.
• Ability to set standards and procedures for performance.
• Ability to coordinate transportation operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and staff training ability.
• Proficient in writing reports and policies.
• Punctuality and ability to work long shifts.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Summary: The Air Officer-in-Charge supervises and trains Flight Security Officers for charter aircraft services and ensures security and safety of all noncitizen and crew on-board.
• Primary duties include training on policies, overseeing loading/unloading of noncitizens, reporting incidents, ensuring training completion, and supporting security operations.
• Also performs Flight Security Officer duties as needed and oversees perimeter security and incident response.
