Job summary

Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command seeks Air Reserve Technicians (ART) in an officer position. The incumbent will hold a civilian assignment while also serving in the Reserve unit, aligned to public affairs and command support duties.

The role may include non-ART tasks up to 30 percent and periodic flying in civilian and military aircraft to fulfill temporary or permanent duties. The successful candidate must meet OPM GS qualification standards, have at least one year of specialized

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the functions and missions of DoD, Air Force and Air Force Reserve Command.
• Knowledge of public information, internal information and community relations activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform ART duties aligned with civilian and Reserve roles.
• May be assigned up to 30 percent of non-ART duties.
• Must be able to fly in commercial and military aircraft for assignments.
