Job summary

Sphere 3 Environmental, part of True Environmental, is seeking an Air Quality Permitting Specialist to join its Air Permitting Team in Texas. You will apply knowledge of air emission calculations, modeling, and regulatory reporting to support industries such as oil and gas and surface coating.

The role requires a engineering or related degree and at least three years of experience preparing Air Quality Permits, with strong skills in Excel and communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Three or more years of experience preparing Air Quality Permits.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent mathematics skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret regulatory requirements by federal, state, or local agencies.
• Prepare air permit applications required by agencies.
• Participate in agency consultations, project meetings, and client communications.
• Prepare federal and state emissions reporting.
• Prepare technical project documents including emission estimates and applications.
• Utilize software programs for emissions calculations, modeling, and reporting.
