Job summary

Langan is seeking an Environmental Permitting and Compliance Project Manager, Scientist or Engineer – Air Quality to join its collaborative team. You will lead air quality projects for a wide range of clients across the US, preparing emissions calculations, compliance reports, permit applications, and modeling using AERMOD, MOVES, CALPUFF, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Meteorology, or closely related field (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years of experience with air permitting and multimedia compliance projects in consulting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review air permit applications with accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead air permitting lifecycle from due diligence to ongoing compliance.
• Modeling development and analysis using AERMOD, MOVES, CALPUFF, etc.
• Communicate technical work clearly to clients and agencies.
• Manage budgets and invoicing for projects or tasks.
• Provide oversight of junior staff and assist in proposals.
