Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field from an accredited curriculum.
• 7 years of related professional experience in design and/or project management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team; direct and coordinate work assignments and review performance to ensure cost-effective utilization of staff.
• Responsible for profitable growth of the department, ensuring staff levels meet project requirements while maintaining billable goals.
• Implement and support company programs and initiatives; manage change within the department.
• Provide expert-level technical and design guidance and support.
• Prepare and present workload and monthly financial reports to management and project managers.
• Recruitment, development, training, and retention of staff.
• Collaborate with business development managers and project managers on proposals to secure work for staff.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC processes and safety policies.
