Job summary

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or six years in Air Quality field with industrial background.
• Two+ years of industrial experience and practical field skills.
• Bachelors in environmental field preferred with relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record; TWIC card required.
• Knowledge of ambient air monitoring, CEMS and related regulations.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Strong electro/mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word; able to use MS Office and technical software.
• Experience with fence line monitoring and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Drives to and conducts client facility inspections and audits.
• Obtains permits at client sites and completes JSA and toolbox talks.
• Maintains air monitoring equipment and monitoring systems.
• Supports construction, operation and maintenance of CEMS and ambient air monitoring stations.
• Documents field activities accurately and timely.
• Manages client projects including budgeting, scope, risks, and team assignments.
• Supports proposal writing and business development activities.
• Trains incoming and current employees on processes and procedures.
• Supervises field personnel and ensures quality of work.
• Leads weekly team meetings and communicates updates to Air Quality Monitoring Manager.
• Ensures safety compliance and responds to calls during extended hours.

Education

Two-year technical degree + 2+ years experience OR 6+ years Air Quality experience

Bachelor's in environmental field (preferred)

Industrial experience (2+ years)

Driver's license and insurable driving record

TWIC card

Reading and interpreting drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics

Electro/mechanical troubleshooting

MS Excel and Word

Knowledge of ambient air monitoring, CEMS, air regulations

Fence line monitoring experience

Basic safety knowledge (Safety Plus)
