Job summary

The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality's Air Quality Division seeks a mid-level engineer to review NEPA documents, perform environmental engineering reviews, and coordinate with agencies. Join the IMPACT data management team and contribute to cross-functional projects under moderate supervision.

You will prepare technical comments, develop metrics and reports, and provide public and internal support on air quality data management, applications, and inventories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• 0-3 years of progressive engineering experience at Engineer I level.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed technical evaluation of NEPA documents with engineering judgment.
• Provide technical support to agencies and stakeholders during NEPA processes.
• Prepare engineering studies, reports, and summaries for varied projects.
• Review documents for compliance with state regulations.
• Develop metrics, reports, and queries for management use.
